Justin L. Stewart is an independent visual journalist
from Jackson Hole, Wyoming who is now based out of Los Angeles, California. Justin earned his Master of Arts in Journalism from the renowned Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri.
Justin's versatile skill set combines both cinematography and photography, making him the perfect choice for projects that require a range of visual techniques. He has a passion for drone work and takes any opportunity to showcase his aerial skills.
Justin's work spans across several genres, including sports, current events, breaking news, politics, and social issues. He works for NGOs, newspapers, documentary productions, and other clients in need of documentary work.
His work has been published in The Atlantic, ESPN, TIME's Lightbox, Al Jazeera, The New York Times, The Guardian, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe and many other outlets. He contributed to Spike Lee's "2 Fists Up," documentary about the protests and unrest on the University of Missouri's campus during the fall semester of 2015. When not inundated with work, Justin can be found wandering the streets of LA with camera in hand or researching stories and possible travel opportunities.
