2025 World Series
I got a call the day before the final Los Angeles hosted World Series game for the 2025 series. I was asked to cover the 2025 American Legion World Series Champions as they attended a lunch at a local post and attended a World Series game. Due to the last minute nature of the call, I was a little limited as to what I could bring into the stadium and do inside there. But that was a great opportunity to try out a new toy lens I got. It felt great to just get the call. I've been fortunate enough to get a call from someone to cover some aspect of almost every World Series that's LA has been blessed with since I moved here in 2016.
One of my favorite photographs from that night is a portrait of a Blue Jays fan standing quietly before the game, cradling his glove in his arms as he looked out over the field alongside a child I presume is his son. His face carried this mix of wonder, nostalgia, and childlike joy. It felt like he was having a special moment at the game and it was a special to see.
