Call of Duty Championship Tournament - Los Angeles

I had the good fortune to be able to cover the Call of Duty League Championship Weekend for the Dallas Morning News over a few days, focusing on the Dallas Empire team until their elimination in the semi-finals. I then spent the final day covering the Atlanta FaZe clan competing against the Toronto Ultra for the championship. I've never shot competitive gaming before and it took a minute to figure out what to expect from the players and how to best catch their reactions on a raised stage. They were pretty stoic throughout the competition, with only a few characters erupting after a win. I found it a lot more fun to search the crowd for reactions and interactions amongst themselves.
